a real nice solid ash wood secretary desk made by Maddox. Very high quality made slat front desk with the hidden desk top and cubby space interior over a chest of drawers standing on bracket feet. Very heavy, sturdy and sound with no flaws to note. Beautiful hardwood ash with natural finish and grain. All solid hardwood ash. Dove tail joined drawers open and close smoothly. T=Still has the Maddox Bull Tag on it. Looks to date to mid 1900's.39.5" high by 32" wide and 18" in depth from front to back. approx 175 lbs., very good original condition. No flaws to note.
