Karuma dansu Japanese wheel Tansu late Meiji era signed. Fabulous antique
Japanese wheel Tansu from the turn of the century late 1800's early
1900's in original condition. Beautiful Japanese
antique storage Tansu with locking bar, made with all keyaki (elm) wood
front and frame, iron hardware, These were generally large storage
chests with iron fittings, made on wheels to be rolled to safety in case
of emergency. 38.5" high by 38.75 wide and 16" depth. It has the
original old lock, It has sliding door top with a lock bar, 8 drawers in
all with a hidden side drawer. Great aged patina finish on the elm wood.
It does have a signature that I am unable to read.
