Rare set of two antique heavy brass ball post twin beds from around the turn of the century early 1900's. Heavy duty brass ball topped headboard with brass bars and low footboard with ball posts.. Cast iron fitted side rails drop into the cast iron receiver to lock them together tight. One set of side rails look as though they may not be original to the beds but they work just fine , will need to tap them in with hammer. Both beds will accommodate standard twin size mattress and box spring. They are 80" long overall and 43" wide. The headboard posts stand 40" high and the footboard posts stand just 16" from the floor. Very well made antique brass beds that are very heavy duty. beds.
