antique wardrobe chest from the 1800's that is very unusual and quite
nice. It is a solid walnut knock down double wardrobe chest. It breaks
down into four pieces for transport and for getting up the old narrow
stairwells. It has a high crown mold top over a wardrobe closet section
with a bevel edge mirror front door on the lft and a chest of 2 half
drawer and 2 full drawers and 2 door cabinet with shelving on the right,
standing on a base section with 2 full length drawers. Nice early dove
tail joinery on the drawer boxes. Nice Eastlake Victorian brass hardware
on the door and drawers. Large piee and very unique in style. Finish
looks to be original with normal marks and aged patina from use Overall
condition very good.. The crown molding has two identical old repairs on
the back side shown in the last pic. Not problematic to it's integrity
but mentioned for clarity purposes. Stands81" high and is 59' WIDE BY
18.5' in depth. Crown mold is 63.5" wide by 21" in depth, the 2 door
shelved cabinet in right section is 36" by 32" and the closet section on
left is 57" high by 22" wide
