Set of 6 Antique American Empire Dining Chairs ca 1840. Early set of 6
mahogany Empire Saber Leg chairs from the early to mid 1800's. Saber
legs on front and back with a bowed front stretcher, rounded top crest
and a scroll cut fiddle back splat. The back legs extend all the way up
to the top rail. The old needlepoint seats probably are not original but
are very old. A few repairs over the years but all sturdy and sound with
the original finish and condition. Great set of chairs for restoration
or used as is. 33.5" high, 18" wide by 19.5" depth 17.5" seat height.
